Near a new boardwalk on a new trail in west Farmington
A short boardwalk was recently built by my grandson, and his boy scout troop, as an Eagle Scout service project. The boardwalk was suggested and approved by Farmington City officals to enhance an old pond reconfiguration and adjacent new trail. The last time I was on the trail I scared up a large Owl which has occasionally been seen by others.
The geocache can be approached from the trailhead to the south. Park at N40' 59.769, W 111' 55.801 and look for the trailhead markers on the sides of the road.
Note: The original ammo box cache container was apparently stolen and has been replaced by various other containers as they have tended to disappear from this area. The present container is what it is and might change again as needed.
