The cost of gas just keeps climbing and the effects on our daily
disposable income are being felt by everyone, especially by us
geocachers. It makes you harken back to and hanker for the days
when gas was a mere 25 cents a gallon and when, in the summer, the
local price wars would get it down to 15!
Well that's what this cache is about. When you get to the posted
coordinates you will see a line of fossil fuelers, many of them
with some pretty incredible prices still showing in the
windows.
You just need to figure out these clues to find the final:
The last fueler on this pump must have only had a 5 spot, but still
managed to get AE.I gallons of gas at
.BB/gallon.
The last one on this pump must have gotten the firehouse special,
for $5.76 they got HC gallons of gas! That's more like
D.G cents a gallon, not the 30.9 cents a gallon that shows
in the price window.
One of these pumps is quite a different color than the rest and
also a bit pricer with gas at GJ cents a gallon.
And lastly, the rustiest and Eriest one of the bunch is all
but indiscernable except the two 6 digit windows, the first of
which starts with a F Pump
removed And lastly, the most recent
addition to this collection is certainly obvious, not only by its
shape, but also by it's fuel price, $F a gallon.
