You should be able to take the town car into this cache most times but be ready to hike if needed. I busted a few drifts to get in but they should be gone soon.
Deer Butte Lookout Tower.
43:12.533N 121:51.423W
Elevation: 5435 feet
Container: Camo taped Gatorade container.
This is another retired lookout location.
Just West of Chemult, Oregon off of Deer Butte Road.
Here all you will find are the concrete pillars that the tower used to sit on. One even has a hole where the benchmark was located at one time.
There should be some good views from here but it was pretty much dark o'clock when I placed the cache so I could not tell. I did hear the train in the distance but did not see one going by.
You can head on up to Miller Lake from here very easy also.
