Geocache Description:

LJ parks is a series of caches that have been placed to assure that there is at least one cache in every named park in Lake Jackson. That's 22 parks.

Lake Jackson has had a Parks Dedication ordinance for years and as a result has over 1100 acres of parkland. When you divide that by the number of residents in Lake Jackson, the parkland per citizen is more than most cities in Texas. EAT YOUR HEART OUT HOUSTON!

Garland Park is a 5 acre park with 2 lighted tennis courts and adult swings and a playground for the little tykes. There are also picnic tables.
