Geocache Description:

This 2 stage multi cache is a water cache. Accessed only by boat, preferable canoe or kayak as these craft are small enough to reach the 1st & 2nd stages. The 1st stage container is not listed. The 2nd stage container is a Decon container. Access is from the Merrill Creek Resevoir Boat Ramp located near the Merrill Creek Visitors Center.
Do not attempt this multi cache from shore as swimming or wading is STRICKLY PROHIBITED!!! This cache is closed/deactivated from Dec - March.

The Merrill Creek Visitors Center is at N40 44.425 W 075 05.568. The Boat Ramp is near by. Remember that this cache is water access only. You do not need to exit your boat to find either of the 2 stages.
Merrill Creek Reservoir does not allow swimming or wading!!!
Please WEAR your life jacket.
The distance between the 1st stage & the 2nd is about 1 mile, an easy afternoon paddle. The total paddle distance is 2.5 m. The Dif. rating is high because of the method of access not because of the hides themselves. The Merrill Creek Resevoir has specific hours of operation so visit their web site @ WWW.merrill creek.com .
