Geocache Description:

PREVIOUSLY A MULTI, NOW A ONE-PART. The Gretna Nature Trail is in its beginning stages in this wooded area in the City of Gretna. PUBLIC PARKING AND ENTRANCE TO THE TRAIL IS BEHIND THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The trail is a raised bed of crushed rock. Once finished, this trail will include informational placards and outdoor classrooms.

Our walks through this area at dusk always include seeing birds, ducks, and (in the spring) lots of rabbits. We have occasionally seen snakes, and once a large raccoon. Rain will up the difficulty on this one--boots may be necessary. This was previously a multi. You now log in at what was the first stage.
