This cache has been archived.

freesample: I have been notified that the Timber Company is going to cut all the Timber off of this piece of land so therefore I have removed this Cache completely. If they do not destroy this area to badly after they are finished I may place another one back in this area. Thanks to all who have hunted this Cache. I will be placing it again soon.

Geocache Description:

This is by no means an easy walk in the woods. You will travel through Palmettos over you head. You will stumble, sweat, and probably say dirty words but remember if this was easy everyone would already found it.

Plastic Coffee Jar painted to somewhat match the surrounding terrain. Many Yellow Flies were killed during the placing of this Cache however I am quite sure they have since multiplied and are eagerly awaiting your arrival. A Travel Bug was left with the Yellow Flies, Skeeters and whatever that big thing was that I spooked in the Palmettos. Best accessed from 127 but still a nice hike to the cache location and while Oscar Thomas Trail and Frank Combs Circle look like good routes they both end in private yards. Happy Bushwhacking Baker County style.
After being contacted by several cachers who have been unabl to locate the correct area or path I am giving a little help. After you locate the "Wrong Way" Cache go towards the river and just before you start down the bank there is a trail into the bushes on the left. This a real good spot to start now headed in a westerly direction you will notice that you are in somewhat of a valley follow it. Your way point if choose to use it N30 25.935 W082 14.016 you will leave the leisure of the valley stroll and head in to the dense palmettos before reaching the Co-ords above. When you get to this location you will notice that this is somewhat of a bluff above the river surrounded by huge Pine Trees. Nice place to take a breather and nurse your wounds. Now continue on towards the west you will drop down into an overflow drain that is dry, follow it, just before the river you will find a trail going up either side of the bank and you should be very near N30 25.941 W082 14.074 One trail takes you to the cache the other will take you into some ones back yard a short hike away. Enjoy your Stroll.
