chris-mouse: The event has been over for almost three weeks. It's well past time to archive the listing. I'd left it up in the hopes that those who picked up travel bugs would log them out of the cache, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

Please, if you picked up a travel bug at the event, log the pickup so that its travel will be properly recorded on the bug's page.

Geocache Description:

The august 2008 meeting of the GTA Geofriends

Continuing the series of monthly pub nights for the Greater Toronto Geocaching community! This month the event moves northwest to Brampton.

If you are new to geocaching, this is an excellent way to meet other cachers and possibly even go caching with new friends.

Brampton isn't quite as cache dense as some areas, but there's still nearly 100 caches within 10km of the event.

Seasoned cachers will appreciate the space to swap caching stories or discuss that difficult puzzle cache that is on your mind.

This event is being held at Crabby Joe's on the southeast corner of Kennedy Road and Queen St. in Brampton. We will meet here at 6:30pm. I've told them to expect about 50 people, but we could probably squeeze in a few more.
