Geocache Description:

If I didn’t know better, I’d think we’re all nuts! Then again perhaps I don’t know better.

Please indulge me while I recount two of my favorite anecdotes about local cachers.

I once saw 3Hawks trudging waist deep through alligator infested swamp merely to find a cache placed by StarWarsGuy that he had already found but that had been DNF’d 9 consecutive times just to prove it really was there. Upon arriving at GZ, he ran into another cacher disguised as a dwarf called A. Tree. He tore the mask from the unknown cacher to find a familiar face, Uncle Fun. The two then decided to go hunt a cache together. The first one they attempted was an unfound puzzle cache by theWickey7. It required that they research the underwear size of various comic-book heros from the middle ages. After a phone a friend for some online help to Hugh Foundit, they were off to the races. As they ran to GZ, they were disappointed to find Ecorangers signing the log because they had the advantage of having a book called Comic-Undies of the Middle Ages with them.

This next story was related to me by Firebird4227 who heard it directly from Armyman330. I arrived just after the commotion. Therefore, I cannot personally attest as an eyewitness, but it has the ring of truth.

There once was an FTF available in the Germantown area. Doctor Doolittle was first to ground zero and was seconds away from making the find when he was startled by Auntie Nae and Puzzler & Burrgirl loudly discussing the finer points of camo-ing 35mm film canisters. SR18 used this temporary diversion to sneak in and make the find. None of this would be all that surprising except Ranger Rob suddenly jumped out of the cache, smile on his face, having already secured the FTF. Team Genesis then appeared on the scene and suggested they all head down the road to another new cache by BQueen.

The stories contained herein are fictitious. The names have been changed to protect the innocent. Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to find the cache. It’s a rather typical and easy hide. The difficulty is in the determining the correct coordinates. This cache page will destruct in 30 seconds.

I may add a hint later if needed.
