I'm sure everybody has heard of Billy the Kid, but who would have believed that he was actually buried in a small cemetary in a small town in Northeast Lousiana?!?!?!?! The final resting place is in a town aptly named Alto. I came across this location while taking photos for a photography class several years ago. Considering this is located in on the high bank of a river, be careful if hunting after dark. While there, you might want to head down the hill to the boat launch and take a look at the river.
