Yet Another Switchback Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GoGoJo: Based on dantreeman's logs it sounds like this one is MIA. (Thank you dantreeman for the updates!) I'm not quite able to do this hike yet (but I'm working on it!) so I will archive this one. I hope someone else picks up this spot, I think it is a nice one.

Geocache Description:

Rectangular "Lock N Lock" type container is located on the Razorback Trail Trailhead in the Windy Hills OSP (Open Space Preserve) in Portola Valley. Parking is available either in the main parking lot on Portola Rd. (N37 22.552 W122 13.369) or else up on Skyline Blvd. The first time Catomcat and I hiked up this trail the switchbacks here seemed endless. The 3.5 difficult rating assumes you start from the main parking lot on Portola Rd.

Cache is basically right next to the trail, no need to trample any vegetation nor to bushwack. There is a small amount of poison oak in the general area; it is easily avoidable if you are in the correct place. Also, remember to check for ticks as there are a lot of deer in this park.

Preserve is open dawn until a half hour after sunset, please only cache during park hours. Park information can be found at:
