Mashed or Boiled? will bring you to the site of a monument located on Buffalo’s waterfront. This monument was dedicated in ceremonies on August 23, 1997, yet remains largely unknown to most locals. I discovered it several years ago while walking at lunchtime, and always enjoy stopping back. I hope you'll enjoy it too.
This is a camo'd micro container with just a log so BYOP. I’ve been here many times and never encountered muggles, but you never know.
Park at Shanghai Reds (now called Templeton Landing) or the Marina, and take a stroll – sunset would be the ideal time, I think.
Note added 5/11/09 - when returning the container to its hiding spot, keep in mind that it should be hidden just well enough so that a muggle wouldn't notice it. It is camo'd so it doesn't need to be TOO well hidden, which would make retreival difficult.
