This is a travel bug
hotel, coin bank for East Wichita.
I just recently hit 1000 finds, and wanted to
hide a few mores caches, this is just one that I have underway.
Please help
prevent it from getting muggled, hide as well or better than you
found it.
This cache is modeled after a cache I read
about in the Topeka area
GC1BKT7.
Start plagiarism mode (hey, see #8 below, I kinda
have permission to do this ?
THE RULES
ARE
-
If you log this “Challenge Cache” online, You
will be required to place a cache within 30 days of your log in
date!
-
Your log in date will be posted and monitored.
Remember all of your Geo-Friends are watching
-
This is based on the Honor System and you will be
held to a Geo-Caching Standard ( We do have standards… Don’t
we?)
-
You will have 30 days to get your new listing
published and contact 4America that it has been or is being
published.
-
It does not matter where in the world you hide a
cache. It can be Zimbabwe if that’s what trips your
trigger!
-
Some may say we are doing this to get a FTF.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I could care less about a
FTF! (well that may be stretching it a bit)
-
The hope is that this will give some of you that
have been wanting to place a cache, a reason to do so.
-
Some of those polled thought it would be nice if
the new caches hidden would reference that they too would be a
“Challenge Cache” The hope was that this Genre (if you will) of
cache would work similar to a chain letter with more and more being
hid. (Not a Requirement)
-
We will monitor your log in date (I have people).
If you are found to be non-compliant, your log will be deleted!
(That sounded like Dirty Harry) No whining, No excuses. If you do
not wish to play along, it is very simple, do not log this cache
online as a find!
-
Last request from those polled. Most of those
polled expressed that this type of cache could lead to a rash of
micros being placed and some asked if I could request in the
description that no more micros be placed. [ No Micros allowed if
you want online credit]
-
My Comments: I would like to thank everyone who
responded to my poll and provided information for the makeup of
this cache. This is an attempt to have more caches placed. This in
no way benefits 4America and or anyone who participated in the
poll. It took a lot of work and cooperation to put this project
together. It is a prototype cache for this area
We have hopes that it will be well received. I
hope that people that are willing to find-“em are also willing to
Hide-‘em
HAPPY CACHING
-end of borrowed text--
If you really just do it for the hunt, and have
no desire if hiding a cache, hunt away, enjoy looking for it, you
can even log the actual cache log, just not the one online,
remember you are doing it just for the thrill of the hunt!
Thanks for helping!
Back about the cache:
It is a quart sized plastic jar, camo’d for the area, should be
pretty easy park and grab. Please use stealth, as muggles are
around at times. Because this area appears that it can get wet,
please hide cache as you found it, and make sure you lock he lid
and no ziplock bags, dirt etc get into the seal.
