Meet and Eat at the historic Old Log Cabin on Rt. 66 in Pontiac
IL.
18700 N. Aurora ST. (corner of Aurora and Rt. 66)
7:00 to 9:30 PM
Come on out to a meet and eat in a historic Rt. 66 atmosphere.
The
Old Log Cabin was built in 1926 along Rt. 4 and Rt. 66 with
Cedar
telephone poles, it still has the old knotty pine walls inside.
Friday nite specials include a Smelt Basket, Walleye Dinner or
Shrimp Basket. If fish is not for you they have plenty of other
great food.
The Old Log Cabin Closes at 8:00 but the owners will keep it
open
for us an extra hour or so. come to eat or drink and swap a few
caching stories. there are plenty of new caches in the area to
get
while you are there also. There will be a few door prizes given
away also.
The Old Log Cabin is listed in the Illinois Route 66 Hall of
Fame.
