The "Gas Savers" series is intended to let you get caches, without developing "Gas Guilt Syndrome," during these days of ever-increasing gasoline prices. If you are local you can pick them up on your way to places you usually go. If you're "not from around here," they are an easy way to add to your numbers without using up much gas. They should be especially convenient if you are passing through the area on your way to somewhere else.
They are meant to be quick and easy, and very straight forward, if you plan your route the right way.
Once you have found one you will know what you are looking for, and, after two, you will probably be able to spot some of them from the car.
Containers are small, with just enough room for the log book, a pencil, and a few small trade items, so there is no FTF prize for these, except for the usual honor and glory of being the first to find.
Park in the lot and take a very short walk to the target area.
Note: 8/16/08 The vegetation near the cache is not poison ivy.
