Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a hiking trail that starts from Dragon Peaks Park. It was placed at a pool called Moonies Pool. The hike is beautiful, a but can be tricky. Alt 4055ft.

The original route to this cache seems to be overgrown and thus people could not find it. I have found an alternate route that I walked in just over an hour.

From Dragon Peaks Park reception walk south towards mount champagne. There is a split in the road, left to the mount and right to the adventure camp. Go right. Go past the adventure camp and paintball and follow the road up the hill. Where the tar road ends, the is a little cemetery. (Waypoint GRAVE). Turn left here and follow the right hand fire break down the hill. You will go through a ravine and up the other side and parallel the river. A few hundred meters after the ravine the fire break splits, stay right (Waypoint SPLIT1). Continue along until fire break splits again. You will notice the river on the left with some nice sliding rocks. Just before the split there is an obscure single track on your right. The first 3-4 m are a bit overgrown. (Waypoint PATH). Follow this path up the hill. At the top it will enter the forest and the path is quite clear and defined. It's about a km walk from there. About 50 m from the pool you will see a sign showing the pool. Go up the river where path exits and find the big rock. Your cache is close. Container replaced. Retrieved a TB but Jeep TB was not there.

Have a look in the image gallery. I've added a google earth shot of the route and pics at all the waypoints.
