Geocache Description:

This is a difficult park and grab in a small city park.

My original cache container in this park went missing. It was surprising that it lasted as long as it did. That small container has been replaced with a micro, a bison tube. Coordinates are slightly different and difficulty was raised to 3. Then in late 2010, the tree it was in was cut down. The cache was saved but moved to a new location nearby, with the help of Jack, visiting from Chicago! It is still rather difficult, and remains a 3.

The cache contains a small log but no pencil, so bring your own. Let me know when the log is full and I'll replace it.

After you sign the log it may be difficult to replace. The easiest way is to roll the log into the cap and then insert the bottom over the log.

This cache is for Jack. He use to play in this park. He attended the school nearby. Now Jack lives in the Chicago area. Maybe when he comes back for a visit he can find this cache and relive some old memories. Until he does, you can log a visit and make some memories of your own.

The nearby shelter building can be rented from the city. There are several other shelters around town. These are good for parties, reunions and winter picnics.
