delicatxan: This ammo can lasted a few years here with no problems. Now it's missing. Glad someone got the trackable out of it in January. Not going to donate another ammo can to the cause so I'm just going to archive it. Sad because I really liked this little slice of nature.

You are looking for a 30 cal ammo can hidden near Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Park (off Kingsley Dr). There is parking at:
N29 34.857
W095 25.025
This is the parking lot for a new nature park in the area.
This cache is for those who don't mind a tiny amount of bushwhacking to get to an ammo can. If you follow the Shadow Creek Ranch Nature Park trail to the end & go to the right, you will see a place to cross over the water. (if you don't, then it has been raining heavily & it's probably not the best time to try for this one). The first few feet is bushwhacking but then it opens up to a jeep trail. We saw lots of banana spiders when hiding this one. Also watch for snakes & other critters as this is near a wetland area. TAKE WATER!
