Geocache Description:

Jay Cooke State Park will host a special deer hunt as part of our overall resource management program. On November 29 - December 3, most of the park will be open to permitted hunting. Both the park's History Challenge and the Northeast Regional Challenge caches are located within the hunting zone. The park will be closed to public use during the hunt, so please plan accordingly. The park and the caches will reopen to the public on December 4. Park office is open 10am-4pm daily.

Congratulations – you have made it through the challenge! In order to complete the North East Regional Challenge (and receive your special regional medallion) you will need to find one final cache.

After finding all of the Geocaching History Challenge caches in 20 parks of the North East Region, bring the History Challenge history cards you’ve collected to the Jay Cooke park office. Office hours are Through the end of September:
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Show the cards to park staff and you will receive the coordinates for the final cache.
