29/11 Last visitor to this site noted that there were no swaps as it was brimming with goodies it has cleay been muggled. Therefore please do not leave anything in the box if visiting - I will try and get back to it in a couple of weeks and perhaps move final co-ords location. Still a nice run around however clearly only a log book prize - unsure whether bonus cache affected - may be able to still have a balloon. *************** This is a short multicache in the surrounding villages close to Knaresborough. Set to celebrate the birthday of my dad aka “Mallfoy” a geocache addict and sly fab cache setter – you’ll be pleased to know that this is not at all devious or cryptic in the vein of Mallfoy. The cache consists of 4 short legs, 3 clues to solve to lead to next locations one microcache and the final cache which also has a bonus cache within a five minute walk if you manage to find the magic stone
There is very little walking to do (as Mallfoy is about to get new knees!) and the final cache is only a short (.29m)walk or drive from the last clues.
This cache has been set with a slightly dated and temperamental Garmin so expect accuracy to be in the region of 40foot.
So off we go!
1. Starting Co-ordinates: N 54.01.258 W001.28.216
At the queens throne answer the following questions to solve your next co-ordinate:
a) Sitting on the throne how many cages imprison oak inmates
b) The first digit of the queens birthday age
c) The second digit of the thrones anniversary year
d) First digit of the date of throne year
e) Last digit of throne year minus five
f) Last digit of throne year minus first digit
Answer:
N.54.cd.fea W.001.db.ece

2. You should now be throned again using the Dalesmans’ date solve the following:
a) First date digit
b) Fourth date digit
c) Dalesman date 1st digit plus 2nd digit minus 3
d) First digit plus last digit
e) Second digit minus third digit
Answer:
N.54.02.aed W.001.29.bcc

3. This should lead you along a theme where you will find a VERY small magnetic microcache approx 5mm with co-ordinates to your next stop. Beware of muggles in the vicinity!
Now your last set of clues! From the next location you will be able to walk to the final cache.
a) Date throne donated to village – first digit plus second digit minus 4
b) Date of royal Queen Victoria’s tree – second digit divided by 2
c) Communications post first digit of three digit identity code
d) First digit of Royal Trees year(s)
Final Cache Co-ordinates:
N.54.02.bca W001.30.dcc

The final cache is a large ammunition box full of goodies as this is birthday cache any birthday themed goodies welcomed – though normal TB’s and other items welcome. Mallfoy's birthday travelbug has also been launched from this cache.

BONUS BOX
From the final cache look out for the magic stone – if you find this stone it will tell you how many feet to continue walking up the lane (so get clever with the GPS) here you will find a small cache box with birthday balloons to take – no need to leave anything or Log anything in this box - its contents will be replenished.
