Geocache Description:

This is part 2 of my series. A delightful walk along a grassed meadow and a wooded path close to a gentle stream near Hepworth

This is an easy tupperware cache close to the well used path with connects Foster Place Lane to Butt Lane. I like this area as the stream can be used to cool your feet with or without your four legged friends. Popular for families and children. I have been almost run down by fast push chairs as well!!!!

Hepworth is the nearest village to the North West across the stream. This village is famous for its three storey weavers cottages and the Black Death. Apparently Hepworth was the most northerly outbreak of the Black Death and infected cloth was to blame. The end of the plague in Hepworth is still commemorated on the last Monday in June every year with Hepworth Feast.

The White Horse is also nearby in Jackson's Bridge and is a famous "Last of the Summerwine" film location. The River here is a strange orange colour.

When I placed the cache a herd of friendly cattle were guarding the spot. One cow named Shona so friendly she licked my elbow when I took her photo - see gallery.

Either park at at Foster Place Lane to the south or Butt Lane to the north and walk to the cache.
