I drive by this NJ Green Acres track every day on my way to work. About 3 months ago we stopped to explore it and fell in love with it. Eagle Walk gets its name from the Boy Scout Eagle project that built the entrance to this Green Acres area. Since we walked it in the late Winter '08, they have improved the trails. They are nice and wide but still young so there are soft spots on the way back to the cache. This cache is about a 1/4 mile hike from the entrance and overlooks part of the Rancocas creek. The cache is a well stocked large lock-n-lock a few steps off the trail. There is a nice, compact LED flashlight for FTF. We didn't make it difficult; the idea was to get people out to this beautiful area and enjoy the trails. The trail loops around, so enjoy yourself! The tract is actually much larger, covering about twice the area in the woods than the path allows you to explore. If, you're feeling adventurous, right past the cache is a grown over path that follows the creek. There are some beautiful areas down there worth exploring!
Update 19 Feb 09: Follow-on Eagle Scout projects have come a long way on this area since we first hid the cache. The trail is much improved and the path leading further down the creek is well cleared now.
