This cache is located on Red Mountain and is in a 50 cal. ammo can.
Red Mountain has been a favorite spot for out door recreation for many years. Certain times of the year you will see a lot of hunter orange on the mountain. Species of wildlife seen up there are blacktail deer, black bear, cougar, coyote, rabbits, grouse... To access the cache, take the Mount Baker Hwy to N48.55.141, W122.05.963, which is a gravel logging road. A two wheel drive will get you to the cache, however a 4x4 may be helpful in winter months. There is a great view of Kendall / Nooksack River Valley. The cache container is filled with a bunch of trade items. Have fun caching! Nighthawk 2
