Geocache Description:

The follow up to the wildly successful Big Red Tower

The fencing limited the times this cache was available, so I have placed a new container that is outside the fencing.

From the Big Red Tower description:

Tower Park, in Peoria Heights, Illinois, has an observation tower, a children's playground, and a bronze monument of Abraham Lincoln designed by Gutzon Borglum (designer of Mt. Rushmore). It is said that the view from the top of the 170' observation deck extends for 20 miles and that there is no other structure like this in the United States.

You do not have to go to the observation deck to find this cache.

This cache is rated a 3 difficulty because extreme discretion will be required at times. At other times, there will be few or no people around. The container contains a log only. Bring your own writing instrument.

There is no reason to dig or disturb the plants/mulch/etc. when searching for this cache. There is no reason to climb on anything to find this cache. Please be respectful of the park property.
