You won’t regret this scenic drive.

Gold Lakes Basin is one of the most beautiful areas in Plumas County. This a nice drive over the mountain from Hwy. 89 to Hwy. 49, or visa versa, to Bassetts Station. Great burgers and old fashion milk shakes to be enjoyed there. A real treat. This cache is an ammo box with some goodies to trade. Enjoy the scenery. Plenty of parking.
