This popular local trail has some of the most varied terrain of any we've ever hiked. There's something here for everybody. When we set the cache we ate salmonberries along the way. There are also plenty of mountain streams if you forget your canteen : ).
Set aside 4 to 5 hours round trip at an easy pace for this cache. Park at the designated waypoint listed below. You'll climb from sea level to 700m. The trail is quite well marked.
Test your footing on bridges, log crossings and large rocks. We found it easier and safer to walk beside most of them. FTF help yourself to anything you like - no need to trade.
