Geocache Description:

A short stroll on a "nature trail"

While asking permission to place a cache on the property of the Swannanoa Fire Department's Sub-Station and Training Center it was recommended that I also place a cache somewhere along their nature trail. A nature trail? Who knew?

The "trail" starts out as a mowed section in the grass behind the fire station, but eventually turns into a real sawdust-marked trail. (You should be able to see the mowed trail from N 35° 36.714 W 82° 25.219.) I recommend you take a short detour to have a look at the river. You are looking for a medium-sized Lock&Lock filled with kid stuff. (The logbook may say "Natalie's Cache".) And if the Training Center is being used for its intended purpose you might want to come back later. Enjoy!
