Located within the boundaries of the Morgan Arboretum, in Montreal, QC. Elevation: 60 metres. Accuracy: 9 metres.
There are many good, light hiking trails criss-crossing the Arboretum. Much of the flora is identified by species (bring a Latin dictionary), and there is a nice variety of wooded areas, open fields, and younger brush. Local and exotic species abound, truly a botanist's paradise. There is an entrance fee for non-menbers, but with that you get a handy trail guide. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed at certain times, in certain locations. Nice spot for a pic-nic lunch, and birdwatchers report great success in the "Pullins Pasture" area. Please note that cycling the trails is not allowed in the Arboretum. Parking is at N 45° 25.854' W 073° 56.553'.
This stash is the result of a "cache kit" that I'd picked-up at Don Buchan's "Iced Tea 6" last week in Laval. As of placement date, it contains the following:

- 1 of Don's now-famous firestarters
- 1 burgundy fountain pen (in need of an ink cartridge)
- 3 Quebec flag lapel pins
- 2 cat toys
- 1 pack of Post-It flags
- 2 votive candles
- 1 luggage padlock and keys
Most of the hunt involves walking on established trails, but there is some bushwhacking involved in medium-density foliage.
