What: An Atlantic
Geocaching Event hosted by geocachers from around the
province.

Feel
free to simply drop into the Group Camp Site and visit ... there
will be cachers hanging around all weekend if you'd like to stop by
and chat or ask questions.
This is primarily a social
weekend, designed to give cachers (old and new) a chance to meet
and socialize in the wonderful and rustic environment of Blomidon
Provincial Campground. Although there will be organized events and
activities, we mainly rely upon the easy-going and relaxed
atmosphere of this park to guide our weekend.
The Group Campsite we have booked
is made up of several smaller cleared sites that accommodate 4 or 5
campers or tents, as well as a large grassed field and a group
activity area with a shelter for cooking. We will have basic
kitchen facilities onsite through the generosity and work of
Bluenose Climbers. Washroom facilities are "vault" toilets, with
access to the washroom facilities in the main park. These sites
will be available for a small daily fee. Please contact the
organizers to book your site.

Night |
Access to the Group Site begins at
supper time Friday night.
This is a social evening with
geocaching friends ... and a BRAND new Night Cache to be
found |
| Saturday |
Early morning group hike to
Cape Split. FINN will be leading up this hike and will be
waiting at the trail head at 0630h for this fantastic hike.
The registration table and log
book will be available all day on the Group Site.
The 3 Geeks Outdoor Store
will be available for your shopping pleasure, please check with
onsite Geofest Crew members for times.
The Geofest Challenge is an
activity open to all registered attendees. Details to follow soon
...
Raffles and Door Prize draws
will be available to all registered attendees, see the Geofest Crew
for details.
Potluck supper and
cornboil!! Join us as we socialize over some food and memories,
while handing out awards and prizes. Please let the Crew know if
you're staying for supper. |

FEES:
This year, we will be charging an
"event fee" for the weekend ... as well as a camp fee. The event
fee is to help defray costs of the weekend, as well as to help pay
for Saturday night's corn boil and Sunday morning's breakfast
fixings. This fee is due upon registration and signing of the log
book.
EVENT FEE: $5 per person for
the weekend (family rate of $20)
CAMP FEE: $5 per person per
night
BEVERAGES: $1 available

We will also be raffling off a
special hiking stick crafted by Eastriver.
