The cache is located along a well defined path in Pipers Wood on the top of the hill. The path is circular, an ideal afternoon walk that will take you about an hour to walk at a nice slow paced stroll.
This cache came about when a few of my friends came over, and I was chatting to them about caching. Anyway, I managed to persuade them to come out and go hunting (Devils Bridge and Christmas Pudding) I had 3 caches already to go, and suggested that we hide them while we were at it. This was Neen's first exeriance of caching, although she had been threatening to go hunting with me for ages. She was in a bit of a silly mood that afternoon, and decided to walk down every hollow she could see (there are quite a few) which lead to her becoming rather muddy, and Bubbles, PoD and myself performing a mini rescue operation when she couldnt get out of one. (obviously, if caching with children, dont let them run down the hollows..... they wont be able to get out again) When it came to finding spots to place the caches, everyone decided that they were going to find the hiding places themselves, thus this cache is named after the person who hid it that day. Parking is on a field entrance on Nettelden Road, so please be considerate to any one working in the field. The hill is quite steep, and the track narrow. It may be muddy in winter and slightly overgrown in summer with grasses. You are looking for a contact lens container... with modifications. Its only small enough for the log book, so please bring your own pen. Please make sure you re-hide it well.
