Come and enjoy a great recreation, camping, fishing, swimming (if you like cold water) and picnic area suitable for large and small family outings. There are lots of things to see and do. It is also a beautiful area to relax in and read a good book.
Sheepshead Mountain Recreation Area Picnic Area Butte Ranger District/Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Activities include paved walking trails, fishing in Maney Lake, and a watchable wildlife trail. Pavilions can be reserved for family and business events. This site is accessible to people with disabilities. You are looking for an ammo box that is stocked full of lots of great items for kids and adults alike. The hike will take you around Maney Lake so wear some comfortable shoes. The cache is located just up a fairly easy slope from the paved trail.
