The hike up from the bottom is a tough one. There is a road that leads right up to the cache that you can follow. You're going to be amazed at the "huge-ness" of this wind turbine, called the Zephyr, after the Greek god of the West Wind. I'm not sure if this one will be available for skiers in the winter as I'm not sure if a lot of snow is made or piled in the cache area, but it IS off the ground.
Thanks go out to Dean N., who helped "push" me up the hill. No thanks go out to Tyler K. and Zach S. who couldn't make it up all the way, sat on the chairlift, and shut it down for all the other good kids anxiously awaiting their turn on the alpine slide at the bottom. ;)
