Loon's Loo Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

linwoodloon: After a two year run and three mugglings, it's time to bid this one farewell. The container was indeed missing and won't be replaced in this exact location. Thanks to all who searched for this one.

Geocache Description:

loo

definition:

(1) "lavatory," 1940, but perhaps 1922, probably from Fr. lieux d'aisances, "lavatory."
lit. "place of ease," picked up by British servicemen in France during World War I.

Or possibly a pun on Waterloo, based on water closet. (an enclosed room or compartment containing a toilet bowl fitted with a mechanism for flushing.)

What Michigan Highway Rest-Area is complete without a cache?

Take a break from your north-bound journey, let your dog run, and stretch your legs.

This is an easy cache designed for a quick find so you can get back on the road. Located about 300' from the parking lot, it will probably take you longer to walk to the cache than to find it.

You will be looking for a plastic coffee can painted for camo.
Be sure to use this as a trading point for TB's as cachers will be headed to varied destinations from here.

Please make sure the cover is back on properly when done to keep things dry.

Happy and safe traveling!
