This should be an easy fly by located on one of many curves along
State Route O. Small size; room for geocoins and small travel bugs.
Cache is a well camouflaged small container placed at the Reform
Conservation Area. This area was purchased by AmerenUE in the early
1970’s for the purpose of producing electricity from the
Callaway Nuclear Power Plant. The majority of the area is leased to
the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) to provide
recreational opportunities including nature study, hunting and
fishing. This is a popular area for deer (archery) and turkey
hunting but you will not be venturing far from the highway. Parking
is available on a nearby county road. Do not park on the highway!
It’s a short walk along the roadside to the cache. Be careful
crossing the highway! This highway is traveled regularly and is
very busy during early morning and mid-afternoon hours. Permission
to place this cache has been granted by the MDC with a special use
