This Event is at Family and Friends Campground. There will be all the normal Cache Event activities, Plus a Creative Memories Consultant(Nick~MacCache's Wife)on hand if you'd like to get your Caching pictures in order. Team photos on site for you.Pot Luck and a DJ for the evening.Pull in to the main entrance and let Dan and Lisa know who you are.There is no fee for the day, if you wish to stay the weekend you'll need to call the campground and make reservations.
This Event will be from 9:00 am until late in the evening on Saturday Aug. 16th. The log book will be at the rec. hall at 9:00am. There will be someone on hand to help any new cahcers. Activities/cache events starting at 4:00 pm,door prizes drawn at 5:45 pm. We will have a Kid's chache/hunt on the campground property. We are planning a pot luck dinner about 6:00 pm and the DJ will start at 8 pm. Scrapbooking from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bring your swag, bring you coins, bring your pictures too if you'd like to do some "scrapbooking". For the pot luck dinner bring a dish and let me know if and what you are bringing please. There will be a grill available to cook on if you need it,so bring your burgers and dogs or what have you.
If you would like to make a weekend of it as we will be, please call the campground ASAP for reservations before they are full up(1-207-642-2200) Ask for Dan or Lisa. The campground has a very nice rec. hall which we will be using. There is a camp store, pool and other activities n'stuff the for kiddos, and wireless internet available. They have a neat little trout pond too...if yuh a good fishahman you might catch one.
This area is rich in caches so you might want to do a few on the way. We will also be doing some prizes and give-a-ways. COME ONE COME ALL!! we would love to see everyone. Keep an eye on updates as this Event gets closer.
