A large lock and lock. The ammo can was muggled!
This cache is placed in honor of my Gramma Jessie. She is 102 years young. She lives here in Henderson, and has been here all her life. Jessie's Jamboree is the family reunion we have every year, this week of June. This is either our 22nd or 23rd year of reunion. We use to have it on the beaches of the Carolinas, but now that Gramma is homebound, we have been having it here in Henderson. There is family from Maine, New York, California, Ohio, Michigan, Florida and Arizona. We have a week of fun, games, laughter, poker tournaments, geocaching, more laughter, eating and card games. My uncle Butch, better known to all of you as Hal, use to own The Westview. That made the bar hopping easier and safer. To date we have celebrated 3 weddings, 2 funerals, many Birthdays, graduations and a few unmentionable events at our reunions. We have between 32-50 people in attendance, and we run 4 generations at this point. Join me in honoring the rock of stability in our life and the reason we are here... Jessie Horton.
We live in Maine and will have local family to care, maintain and manage this cache. Please log any cache issues so that my cousin will know to go replace it with the stash I have left him!
Update 5/20/12: Our matriarch, Gramma Jessie Horton, passed away last night at the age of 106. Very sad indeed, but she will live on forever in our hearts.
