Not far from the parking coords (but it's a bushwack to get there directly, whereas the trails will allow you walk with-in 200 ft of it) Cranberry Glade Run decides to split into 2 streams that again split and regroup many times over the next 150-200 yards by 40 yards wide in a honeycomb fashion. All these little streams finally get back together at a waterfall, with the main stream cascading over some rocks, and the smaller ones blending in from the side with their own little falls adding to the soft sounds in this serene setting. At the falls area, on the road side along the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail, is a small pine grove with a soft bed of needles perfectly complementing the peacefulness of the area. There are signs of someone camping there, I don't know if that is allowed, but it looks to be a perfect place for it. The cache is placed on the other side of the streams from the pines and can be reached by either crossing the streams, which could be tricky at times, or by hiking a few hundred yards down along the trail and crossing some neat bridges and turning back up on another trail which will pass within 250 feet of the cache. There are other options for gaining access to the cache, but you will miss out on the scenery. There are some other fine caches in the Cranberry area, so pack a lunch and grab your fishing poles (maybe a boat, too) and make it a memory filled day by the lake.
This is on State Game Lands so all normal precautions should be observed, and remember the woods will stab, stick, bite, and make you itch, so be wary
