Lost Track at Annick Traditional Cache
Rosserllwyd: Access has become progressively more difficult. Sadly it will have to be archived. I will see if another site is possible as a replacement.

Park by the old railway overbridge by the abandoned railway or at the Annick Bridge. Going through the gate and along the old railway is best. A bit overgrown, but not too bad.
Various other ways to this cache. If you are a 'Mountain Goat' you can go up the north riverbank side and then up the embankment to the viaduct. Look for the huge old oak tree near the river on the dge of the field, it's worth a gander.
This is the old railway to Glasgow from Kilmarnock via Dalry which closed to all traffic in 1973. The Annick Viaduct was recently renovated at what must have been considerable expense, no chance of the line being re-opened though.
Lots of websites to tell you about the local history on Wikipedia. See 'Cunninghamhead' also Cunninghamhead railway station and 'Perceton / Annick Lodge sites', etc.
Lovely river walks and a good section of old woodland nearby.
