This cache is Dedicated to my Long time friend whom fought off his cancer for many years But didn't make it! He was very active and out going in his church,his family & the Community of which he became the MAYOR of the City of POTTSVILLE!
This is a Park & Boat launch into the West Branch of the Schylkill River.
Kids at night use this park as a get together/hangout spot.
The Terry Reiley park was dedicated on September 21,2004.
The park contains a canoe/kayak ramp, picnic tables and grill with hopes of expanding it later.The ramp itself was made possible through several small grants ,sweat equity and $1,000 dollar Gift from the Pottsville Lions club which he was a member of.
The City of POTTSVILLE had the cooperation of many different entities and PA. DCNR. The Schuylkill Headwaters Association & kayak/Canoe enthusiets.
