Located near the pond in the Dickey Hill Sactuary. Part of the GC1CEG5 Lapidary Mystery Cache.
This cache is a large-sized woods-camo Groundspeak.com container located within the Dickey Hill Sanctuary. It is easiest to get to this cache from the Dickey Hill Sanctuary cache (GC13NPX) and then proceed on to the Deering Bog Walk cache (GC14423).
This cache is one of four caches that need to be found for the Lapidary Mystery Cache (GC1CEG5). The others are Dickey Hill Sanctuary (GC13NPX), Deering Bog Walk (GC14423),and That Side of the Pond GC1DE95).
Journey along the yellow trail about halway along the pond. My Garmin GPS puts the trail smack in the middle of the pond, but trust me, the cache is on dry land! My GPS only had about 30' accuracy within the woods, so I wrote a detailed hint to reward those who made the hike.
We saw much wildlife during our walk, including a heron, frogs, an eft, and a leech (!).
