Sea level (within sight), extremely flat and broad plane. Almost like a dry lake bed, except that you're by the ocean, and you're walking on volcanic black sand.
This is a rectangular rubber made container placed under a low cairn of rocks. The area is in a remote part of Iceland, but a lot of locals come here to camp. I was there on a film shoot with Showtime.
