Upper Stillwater Lake Overlook Traditional Cache
billdev: It is with an even sadder heart that I take this cache down. It hasn't had visitors for a long time, it's getting hard for me to maintain and the way in is not well visited and downfall and brush are taking over. The container has been removed and this will probably be my last visit here. Still an awesome place to visit, spring time being the best.

Upper Stillwater Lake Overlook has a west and north view of the lower end of the lake and into the outlet itself. This is a great lake for paddling, fishing and small motor boats. This overlook is tucked above the railroad, you can hear it but not see it.
Follow the driving and hiking instructions on GC1DFX1 “Dog Mountain Lookout”.
The vegetation on this site is very fragile, so please tread lightly. This hike is about 1.5 miles round-trip.
The cache is a camouflaged medium sized Lock-n-Lock container with logbook, pencils, sharpener, FTF gift, Souvenir Cache Cards, and trading items. This is moose and bear country – please do not leave any food or fragrance items.
