Replaced the cache 10/28/2018 and moved the location slightly. New coordinates are listed.
The original ground zero ended up with a lot of thorns over the years since the original placement.
This is a NANO Cache - please bring your own pen/pencil.
Beautiful hiking trail by Fisherman's Landing on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. A trail map is posted at the trailhead.
Trail head is located off the overnight parking lot.
Watch for wildlife, deer, eagles and porcupines, even the occasional otter when you see water.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Roger Jasinski of the Wisconsin DNR and approved. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
