Rest! Stop! Traditional Cache
illinitrekker: Attempted to get permission from the Ohio Department of Transportation for a couple of replacement hides here. State rest areas are currently out for third-party maintenance bids and ODOT does not want to approve any caches until the bidding process is completed.

The cache is located at a rest stop along U.S. 32/50 outside of Athens, Ohio. The hike is steep, but the area is mowed up to the general location of cache. From there, you may encounter quite a bit of poison ivy (during warm months), depending on how much you look around.
The cache is a small ammo container. It is loaded with lots of trade items for kids and adults. There is a concrete bench approximately 80 feet from the cache location. Stretch your legs. Enjoy the hike. Don't forget to check out the view of the highway.
