The terrain is rated 3 only because you need an ATV to get to this cache. You take Gooseberry ATV trail #8 to get to this cache. The cache is only a very short walk right off of the trail. This is another good one for the kids.
I have always liked this ATV trail, and even more liked the small camping spot just to the east of this cache. The small camping spot is really what made me decide this area needed a cache. If you ride this trail in the fall you will not be disappointed. The colors of the leaves along the trail are worth the trip.
The original contents of the cache are mainly for the kids. The cache is a .30 cal ammo can.
