Park and walk about 30 Yards easy find flat terrain. In a ammo box.
This subdivision of Peculiar does not show up on my Garmin 2009 map. The cache is in an ammo box.
This is an easy access cache and in an area next to a subdivision. Be discreet as there are neighbors near by. The developer says that this area is a long time off from being developed. This area is planed as a public common area. The developer’s grounds keeper had no problem with this location. This should be a great location for some time to come.
Cache is on level ground however at the location of hiding there are some rather large rocks that must be maneuvered around. About a 30 yard walk on flat grassy area from street parking to the cache.
Included in the start up cache is a pen and log sheets, Small Sponge Bob toy, $2.00 for the first finders prize. (Buys a ½ gallon of gas), a KCFD key fob, Small Foam airplane. These Items are for taking and trading. I have also (given the name talk to me) supplied a FRS Radio. This radio is not for taking or trading. You might bring along 4 AA Batteries. I put fresh ones in it and plan to maintain them however if dead I appreciate your changing them. Tune the radio on and set to Channel 2 . And give a shout out to retired rider owner of the cache. If I got mine on I am with in range to hear you. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t get me, It’s a long shot. I must be home and have my radio on. I will Monitor it as much as I can. It’s a long shot but might prove interesting to speak to some of you. This is my first cache and I am looking forward to doing more.
