Here are the Railroads Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair or replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me via my profile, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

This Cache has been revived from its previous name “Where are the railroads.” I was the last one to visit the cache before it was archived and had placed a travelbug in the cache. When I noticed the archive state, I decided to go on a rescue mission. Thanks to JoSar77 for placing the initial cache.
You will find a 50-cal ammo box. This is a cache with a train theme.
This cache is located on a Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. The purpose is to build a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines.
This trail is called the Rock Island Trail and follows the abandoned Chicago and Rock Island Railroad between the towns of Falcon and Peyton, Colorado. This 9-mile, gravel surfaced trail runs parallel to Highway 24 and provides a safe passage way for non-motorized use.
