Geocache Description:

This event is to celebrate the expansion of the Sandown Town forest.
The Sandown Conservation Commission has granted permission for us to have this event and place caches in the soon to be acquired 128 acre Minton property.
http://www.sandowncc.org/index.htm

We will meet at about 8am.
Bring your own coffee/drinks and we will bring the Donuts.
You may trade Track-ables, we will have some drawings for some Geo-stuff, then we will pass out The trail maps that are being created and then hit the trails.

We will be placing a few caches in the new area as soon as the purchase is completed.
The land purchase has been completed.
Please DO NOT hide any new caches in the area!
All Event related caches have been hidden.
After the event you may hide caches anywhere you want.
We expect to have at least 10-12 new caches to be published the day of the event.

Also a Sandown Conservation Commission sponsored event will take place on September 27TH.
Anyone willing to show some muggles how to cache would be welcome to help, some temporary caches will be set up for that day.
There are about 160+ caches within 5 miles of this event.

Here is a description of the land by Phil Auger of UNH Cooperate Extension:
