Geocache Description:

Manchester Community College Excursions in Learning cache
#2.

Cache placed as part of summer 2008 Excursions in Learning class for 6-8th graders to learn all about Geocaching. Original two caches on campus (GC12MRD and GCPA4C) plus this and one other traditional cache form part of Excursions activity.

First stage is simple. Initial coordinates simply place you in the center of the campus buildings, a short walk from the first stage. Stage 1: Find the Coltman Village Garden. If you need a clue visit (visit link) for a Campus Map.

Take the 3-digit decimal minute reading (both N and W values) while standing in the entrance to the garden, and add each of these 3 digits to the decimal minutes of N41 45.147 and also to W072 33.159 respectively to get the final coordinates (allow for some GPS variation).

Cache is waterproof 4x3 in. lock-n-lock. Some signs of poison ivy present during growing season. Contains log, pen and room for small tradable items. Have fun!
