"HOT ROCKS" - on the 'Bruce Side Trail' Traditional Cache

DO NOT TRY TO PARK ON ROAD 13 (Jenny St.) AS THE CACHE CAN ONLY BE FOUND BY STARTING FROM THE PARKING LOT AND THEN FOLLOWING THE TRAIL.

Even though your GPS shows access can be gained from the road the terrain and tree cover will give you very deceiving readings if any at all.

• NOTE: The co-ordinates are "NOT" very accurate therefore follow the instructions given instead.
  
  

• Start at the parking lot, which has room for about 4 cars and follow the steep uphill path following the blue blazes markings on the side of the trees clockwise through a forest of huge boulders.
  This can be a slippery path and climb after a rain or on damp days as the moss on the rocks can make it very difficult for some. A 'hiking staff' would be an asset. When approaching a somewhat open area your GPS might give you a reading of about 20-30metres. Continue on ahead and you will spot this sign that you need to reach your final.
  --->>> Proceed through this gap and as you exit, right as you reach the open area, look left about 10 feet.
  This is the container with a log-book, pen, pencil and a few trinkets.
